Players will have different toys and abilities at their disposal to explore an island and meet friends along the way. Lil Gator can climb, jump, and glide. The game does have varies things to do, including quests, collecting arts and crafts supplies spread across the island, and more.

Kein Wunder, dass es für Yoshi nicht so der Hit ist:
Despite Lil Gator Game’s collectathon focus, the game draws heavily on some notable modern games; the most apparent comparisons are to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. From shield surfing to the donut-shaped stamina wheel, and even a glider styled after Link's, Gator Game is clearly drawing inspiration from one of the Switch’s biggest, best titles.

Lil Gator Game hat zwar viele Elemente, die als Hommage an BotW verstanden werden können, aber nichts davon hat damit zu tun, wieso ich mit BotW nicht glücklich bin und nichts davon hat damit zu tun, wieso ich Gator nur nett aber nicht super finde.
