Although this has no direct tie with his appointment as a director, I've been working with Chris for over five years now on the Super Mario movie. Through that relationship I think he really came to understand the Nintendo point of view. I don't think it's easy for those overseas involved in media creation to understand Nintendo's way of thinking, but Chris truly comprehends why Nintendo creates characters and visual content.

By possessing video content and not just games, Nintendo will be able to expand its content further throughout the world and become stronger as a company. The fact that we are a video game developing company tends to create the mistaken impression that we can also create movies easily. It's true that the processes of making visual content and developing games share some of the same ways of thinking, but there are also differences. The movie business, including distribution, is in a period of transformation. Against this backdrop, we think that asking for Chris's input, as an expert with many years of experience in Hollywood, will be of great help to us in the future.

ich finds immer merkwürdig wie sehr auf Hollywood-Schauspieler bei Stimmen gesetzt wird. Im Deutschen hat man das auch manchmal dass bekannte Schauspieler genutzt werden, aber meistens setzt man ja auf die starken deutschen Synchronsprecher. Insofern bin ich schon etwas gespannt wie mans hier macht.

Mit Kevin Michael Richardson als Kamek haben sie ja wenigstens einen richtigen Synchronsprecher dabei.

Wegen der Stimme musst dir keine Gedanken machen, das übernimmt hier dann Julien Bam oder Gronkh oder n anderer bekannter Youtuber.

Wegen der Stimme musst dir keine Gedanken machen, das übernimmt hier dann Julien Bam oder Gronkh oder n anderer bekannter Youtuber.

Die Rolle wird von Pratts üblichen Sprecher übernommen (Leonhard Mahlich).

Bowser scheint 1A umgesetzt, aber das war auch ein Muss.

Sieht absolut fantastisch aus, tolle Farben, beeindruckende Bilder, klasse Musik/Sounduntermalung. Bin von vorsichtig optimistisch zu komplett hype gewechselt, auch wenn der Trailer als FILMtrailer wirklich etwas zu wünschen übrig lässt.

Bei Bowser meine ich echt Jack Black erkannt zu haben, also auch vom äußerlichen. Vielleicht steckt in Mario tatsächlich ein bisschen Chris Pratt, keine Ahnung. Gab im Guardian n Artikel wo einige Twitterposts zu Chris Pratt und seiner Stimme gepostet wurden, das war schon sehr witzig.

Mario wird von keinem Deutsch-Italiener mit Akzent gesprochen? Kulturelle Aneignung! Ich boykottiere den Film!

Sieht einfach nur grandios aus. Freue mich sehr auf den Film.

With novels and comics, people have already enjoyed their stories, so I think movie adaptations guarantee a certain amount of enjoyment. But with video games, it is the gaming experience that makes them compelling, so a movie that adheres to the story of a game will not necessarily be interesting. Moreover, people who have played the game will expect a movie experience that is faithful to their memories of the game, while those who have never played the game will expect a movie that is enjoyable as an independent piece of entertainment. We spent a significant amount of time trying to figure out how to overcome these two challenges. While it is a bit presumptuous to say so myself, I think we managed to get it right, so I hope you will enjoy the movie.

bitte, wer auch nur irgendwie interessiert an dem Thema ist, lest diesen Artikel!

PS: Ich mochte den Film sogar, auf seine trashige Art; fand auch die Production Values (dieses cyperpunkige) und auch die Sprüche zwischen Mario und Luigi cool. Klar, es war - wie der Artikel es auch nochmal zeigt - ein einziges Durcheinander, aber wer will kann dem Film auch einen gewissen Charme abgewinnen. Kommt halt auch auf die Erwartungen an

Also den alten Film fand ich auch besser in Story, als das was die Spiele von Mario sonst so machen (aber ebenso auf die trashige Art)

Der neue Film sieht, nach dem Trailer zu urteilen, wirklich fantastisch aus und spielt für mich bei filmischen Niveau auf einem ganz anderen Level. Ich bin wirklich sehr gespannt, ob der Film bei mir diesen ersten Eindrucks des Trailers halten kann
